I'll friendlock some of my more private entries just so I can be sure that none of the
persons I write about stumble upon thier names and stories.

Graphics and the more general entries will still be available for everyone.

I you want me to friend you back, leave comment and tell me, what we do have in common.
(You'll find something in my userinfo, I'm sure)

I really am. I do read your journals once in the while, look into some communities and stuff, but I just can't bring myself to actually write something. It's wierd, I love this page. I love reading your entries, but when it comes to writing myself? It's just like a block ...

Snagged this little quiz from reg_flint.
Luna Lovegood or Albus Dumbledore

dreamy and absent-minded, though you often show startling intelligence.
Sometimes you're Luna Lovegood, Harry's spacy acquaintance; at your
best, you're Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, far more
serious-minded than your behavior might imply.

First of all: Thank you so much for the lovely card you posted reg_flint. It was rather sweet and more than appreciated!
Also a big thanks to sionna_raven for the Chocolate Cupcake and the Gingerbread Man she sent me for my birthday. Both of them were delicious!

During the holiday I had some time so I decided to create a few icons and experiment with new techniques and variations which was not only great fun but also inspiring.

I've already tolf you about the Day Zero challange thingy. I've been doing this project for 102 days now and it is fantastic! The idea is that you define 101 goals/challanges/etc and then you work through them. 1001days are roughly 2 3/4 years so there is enough time to do even more complex challanges. You can choose your own goals or look through predefined ones. It's just a lot of fun and it made me more active and my life more interesting. Well, one of those goals is to blog every day for a week, so here I am, actually using my LJ and not just reading through other peoples journals.

And while we're at it: My life is far too interesting at the moment. I was able to get a job in a bar where I work 2-3 times a week and sometimes on weekends which is great because I get free food and drink wheneve I want to but it is time consuming. Adittionaly I'm attending the English Stammtisch (a meeting of native english speakers and german students where we discuss stuff in english and have a drink) which is always lots of fun. Before that, there is a facultative reading course and I do have to meet my friends once in a while. Then there is homework, presentations, and going to university. I have a lot on my mind right now and even though my week has never been this full I catch myself liking it.

Let's close this entry with me showing off these shiny awards I got from various Icon challanges:Collapse )
 Icons will be posted soon.

I just love 20in20's. I'll probably going to have a go with the 10th doctor.

An alien convict is hiding in your spare room disguised as a man and a dog, and some other aliens are about to incinerate your house! Any questions?Collapse )

Sooo it's quite official now. Ravenclaw is the house for me, even though Slytherin isn't far behind. I'll always have my Slytherin moments but if it comes down to it, I am more of a Ravenclaw. I got back my term paper and got an 1.3. It means not only that this was the most successful semester i've ever had but also that it is now over and that I can enjoy a few free weeks fully to my own pleasure.

There is a website called Day Zero Project. You set yourself 101 goals and try to achieve them in 1001 (approx. 2,75 Years). I find it to be rather intriguing. There are so many thing I want to do but never kept track on anything. Now I have it right in front of me and can tick it off. Great and simple concept. My list of goals as well as my progress can be found here.

On a different note: I just started a new Snape story and I like the plotbunny that invaded my head. It is in German though and I'm not one to finish the long stories but it goes rather well.

Thank you so much reg_flint for your motivatonal v-gift. It is really appreaciated! And I don't want to dissappoint you so here they are, a few new icons:

I even won a few contests with those.

I hope you all enjoy your week!
